Sunday's Plays all went down the drain when Spice Island failed to get the job done in the feature, but at least the pick-four ticket had a pulse for two races--even if the prices weren't much. It's on to the last day of the meet and although it's always sad to see the Saratoga meet come to a close, those of us who play this game all year long welcome the return of the five day racing week. 35 days down and one to go.

Race 7

I'm looking for a price to get out for the meet and I'll take one shot with Jem Finch. Jem Finch showed some late life in his career debut after breaking 2-3 lengths slow and I'm just hopeful that he can move forward off that race against this suspect gathering. He's from a low percentage barn and breaks from an outside post, so the price should be big.

The bet: $50 win Jem Finch.
